Cleaning Express Pte Ltd (ATALIAN Global Services Singapore) was incorporated in July 1997. Cleaning Express Private Limited has been an established company which offers integrated services in cleaning, landscaping, pest control management and multi-technical services jointly with our other business arms, namely Greenserve & Landscape Pte Ltd and Express Pest Solutions Pte Ltd. We employ about 1,300 employees; of which 90 per cent of our total workforce is employed in the cleaning business. Since April 2017, we have been in new partnership with ATALIAN Global Services, an international facilities management company based in France that is a recognised expert for more than 70 years and a vast business infrastructure operating globally.

Over the past three years, Dr Thomas Abraham, who is the founder and managing consultant of Strategzt Consulting LLP, has been providing consulting services for Cleaning Express Pte Ltd. Since his tenure with our organisation, Dr Thomas’ in-depth knowledge and expertise, especially on healthcare management in the healthcare industry, has vastly value-added to our business operations. ATALIAN Global Services Singapore

Asia Pacific Cities Alliance for Health and Development (APCAT) was established in 2016 by the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union) Asia Pacific Office in Singapore as a network and forum for subnational leaders working to advance tobacco control and prevent NCDs in the region. Members include 77 cities from 12 countries. The APCAT is supported by Ministry of Health, Member of Parliament, professional organizations, civil societies, media from Indonesia, Cambodia, Myanmar, Lao PDR, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Malaysia and Timor-Leste. The Union Asia Pacific Office is the permanent Secretariat of APCAT.

Dr Thomas Abraham who is the Managing Consultant of Strategzt Consulting, was actively involved in the planning and organising of the 3rd APCAT Summit held in Singapore in December 2018 and the 4th APCAT Summit held in Bogor City – Indonesia in September 2019. He was appointed as a consultant for the 3rd APCAT and advisor for the 4th APCAT.

Abraham gave valuable inputs for the programme, as well as in inviting the Minister of State for Health, Ministry of Health, Singapore as the Guest-of-Honour for the 3rd APCAT. He also liaised with the Health Promotion Board to arrange a presentation by the CEO. He chaired a Plenary session entitled ‘Overview of Tobacco Control and Prevention of Non-communicable Diseases’ during the 3rd APCAT. During the 4th APCAT, Abraham made a presentation at the summit on ‘Tobacco Control in Singapore: Lessons, Challenges and Opportunities’.

We appreciate very much Abraham’s strategic outlook and all his contributions to make both the 3rd and 4th APCATs successful.
